The Egg Harbor store opens for the season today, starting our 10th Door County season! (Fri & Sat 10-5, Sun& Mon 11-4, closed Tues & Wed)
Although we were closed for 10 weeks, we stayed very busy. This winter included many trade shows trips including New York City, Las Vegas, and Chicago a few times. We found so many cute things and are geared up for another great year. We have all kinds of new jewelry lines, focusing on handmade artisan pieces, and a few with some real vintage flair- true to the Patricia Shoppe theme. We have brought in new purses, revisited some old favorites too- like Miz Mooz shoes- soooo cute this year! Check back soon as we will update our calender of events for the year very soon, we have some great things planned for 2010! Also become a fan on Facebook, we post daily on there.
Want something cute for Easter, or just need a little color in your day? We have lots of new dresses, skirts, and tops that will make you bloom!

Ok- you asked, here they are- the Eternity Scarves. After featuring in our enewsletter and again on our little TV spot last Saturday I can’t stop the emails and calls comming in about them! They are very cool, and Oprah promoting them always helps too. I would have to say this is one of our ‘it’ items for the holidays. The scarves have no end, can double as a hood or shrug, and you don’t have one end that always hangs to long! They are a great price- $32, and are perfect for your fashionista, or for those more classic ladies. This is not only a great trend, but very practical and useful- love that! These are selling quick, call ahead for availability.

Patricia Shoppe staff getting ready to work the PEO Show
Fox 11 news did a nice story on Saturday morning Good Day Wisconsin featuring the PEO Show, and picked Patricia Shoppe to feature! We were quite honored- and a little nervous too! See the link below to see our little TV spot! We had our busiest show ever! Our hats were definetly a big hit, along with many many scarves, especially the one featured on TV. Check it out!

Ahhh, the lull before the storm. Its a quiet evening in Egg Harbor, but not for long. I am watching the cars pour in for the holiday weekend. The weather is divine, even though the temps are in the 70’s the light and air has definitely changed. It feels like fall, the cool evenings and lake breezes will inspire you to sport these stylish new hats we just received from Lillie and Cohoe. Handmade in British Columbia, nothing can beat these. They are made of great fabrics like boiled wool, cashmere, velvets… Every hat has small fleece flaps for your ears for those frigid temps we don’t like to think about yet. So tuck the flaps in for fall, and don’t go without them this winter. Can’t make it in for Labor Day, no fear, we are having a trunk show with Lillie and Cohoe in October, watch our calender of events for updates.

Also in today are these very cool Latico Leather bags. The colors for fall are so fabulous this year; cranberries, and cobalt, and many shades of greens and teals. The leather on these bags is so soft, like its already your favorite worn in bag.

Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend, I will be here at work allll weekend. But I don’t mind, I love busy weekends at the shop and seeing all our lovely customers get their fill on new fabulous fall merchandise at Patricia Shoppe! I get to enjoy Door County on Tuesday when everyone else has gone back to work and I have the place to myself (or at least it always feels that way). I will be celebrating my 6th wedding anniversary, it was a beautiful weekend just like the one we have now. Happy Labor Day- don’t work too hard!
